La versione Super Deluxe della Colonna Sonora del film-documentario diretto da Alex Winter. 68 brani, con 12 performance inedite registrate al Whisky A Go-Go nel 1968, al Fillmore West nel 1970 ed al programma televisivo Saturday Night Live nel 1978. La colonna sonora riassume la vastità del patrimonio musicale di Frank Zappa con 25 canzoni scelte della sua lunga carriera, partendo dal doppio album di debutto Freak Out! del 1966 (con i Mothers Of Invention) sino all'ultima incisione in vita, The Yellow Shark, live album del 1993 eseguito dall'orchestra tedesca Ensemble Modern. Include inoltre tracce delle prime etichette discografiche di Zappa, Straight e Bizarre Records, con canzoni come No Longer Umpire (tratta da Pretties For You, album di debutto di Alice Cooper), The Captain’s Fat Theresa Shoes (tratta da Permanent Damage, unico album del gruppo femminile GTO's prodotto da Zappa), due composizioni di musica classica ispirate dai maestri Edgard Varese e Igor Stravinsky, oltre a diversi estratti da interviste del tempo. A completamento dell’opera sono incluse 26 brani originali composte per il documentario da John Frizzell. Un ritratto avvincente, rivelatore ed emozionante di Frank Zappa: pioniere, iconoclasta, musicista virtuoso.
